On October 21st, Dr. Wu Chunmei, HFU President, visits Dr. Christine D. Althauser, Consul General of German Consulate in Shanghai.

President Wu Chunmei introduces HFU’s cooperation with Germany, “2020 will witness HFU’s 40th Anniversary and its 35th anniversary of cooperation with German universities. Since the 2015-inspection by Premier Li Keqiang and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, HFU has being advancing the construction of its Sino-Germany Education Demonstration Base as well as its development to be a first-class applied university.” Afterwards she invites Dr. Christine D. Althauser to attend the 13th Sino-Germany Symposium of Applied Higher Education to be held at HFU in early December.

Dr. Christine D. Althauser, who visited HFU in 2019, says that  HFU’s cooperation with German universities has effectively promoted the Sino-German economic and cultural exchange for Anhui Province, and talents cultivated by HFU will play an important role in the Sino-Germany friendship and integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. She is also pleased to accept President Wu Chunmei’s invitation.
